Jelly Fish

During the holidays I went to Horniman museum. Which made me feel quite ill with the pickled animals. Gross anyways we went down to the aquarium and I saw the jelly fish which were beautiful and looked asif they were lace. Which is everywhere for the summer.
I have always loved the delicateness of lace since I was very little.
I really like the cropped lace tops, sometimes with a bright top underneath. Also are really great to wear to the beach over your bikini and matching the beach theme in a pale coral pink or a sandy yellow in a scallop lace ;). Bralets are sweet in lace too.

What I'm wearing: Dagger to the heart

Yay as promised here is a what I'm wearing post, before I start thanks to my little brother for his photos x. The other day I was in town and it randomly started to chuck it down with rain. So we ran into the first shop we could see which was a heart foundation we looked in the kids for a rain coat, I know I'm stupid why didn't you take a coat you do live in unpredictable Britain, anyway the only one they had was for a newborn so I looked in the women's and my dad pointed out this cute orange and turquoise diesel jacket so we bought it :) They are nice vibrant colours for the spring and summer. I thought it would look nice with darker colours to make it stand out a little more. A few years ago my dad gave me one of his retro punky v-top it was in my drawers for a few years because it didn't fit me. I paired it up with my plain black skater skirt which I loveee because it will go with practically anything. The waist band is quite wide so I am wearing it rested on my hips. I left my legs bare to get a little bit of sun, which once again was unsuccessful. So here are the photos I look like a bit of a mug but never mind ;). Unfortunately I couldn't match my top because it was bought from Carnaby street a long time ago ;)

Embellished Sunglasses-DIY

Embellished Sunglasses
Let's make some pretty sunglasses, whoooooop!

You will need:

- A handful of pretties :) (diamante, beads, pearls- preferably flat back but I just used normal)
-UHU or some super glue
-Patience
-Sunglasses
-*Optional* Tweezers

Before you start plan out where you are going to put everything, probably symmetrical but the choice is yours.
Carefully squeeze out a small amount of glue where you are putting you first embellishment. If your embellishments are small and fiddly maybe you should use tweezers to pick up and place them.

To make these sunglasses I suggest buying some cheap sunglasses mainly just in case they get ruined also why buy some super expensive when you are going to change them x
Maybe get them from somewhere like a goodwill/charity shop or thrift store. :) Mine were £1.99.

Look how jazzed up they are :D

Before

It's not like there's no filter on the before of anything, pffft... no :D. But adding pearls has slightly altered the shape of the frame to more of a cat eyes pair but that's good :P

The glasses in the collage are from boohoo.com, topshop and ASOS, for more information check out my polyvore , in case you don't want to give this a go :c. If you do want to give this a go and don't mind please e-mail your finished pair, I'd love to see.

Would you like some tea?

I love looking back at the heritage of Britain/England and the patterns such as dogtooth and tweed. But working it with a funky, big and bold print, modern twist it's been done before but it's a classic.
